Stop Wishing, Start Doing

Progress is progress. No matter how small.
He who is attracted to you because you showed perhaps your legs or your shape - those legs are not going to look like that for the rest of your life, nor will you be able to maintain that shape forever. So therefore it is better for you to realise that he who is attracted to your heart, your goodness and your character is the one to whom no matter what you look like, he will love you and adore you and 60 years down the road would still tell you that you’re ‘the one’.

They say Islam is backwards for not conforming to the ills of society, yet these same ills are the cause of broken families, prejudice, injustice, corruption, and ignorance that they can’t even begin to find solutions for.

God didn’t forbid these things in vain, but because He knew what’s best for His creations.

Israel bombed this rehabilitation centre for the disabled in Jabaliya, Gaza last night, killing three patients and a nurse.
Tell me again how Israel is only “targeting Hamas”.
You can bet your life, your house, everything your extended family owns that no Israeli will be held accountable for the murder of these 4 innocent people.
Can you take a moment to think about how the three patients and nurse had hopes and dreams? Had families? Will you ever hear their stories? Their grief?
No, all you’ll hear about is how Israel is “defending itself”. Over and over and over again.

Colbie Caillat’s New Music Video Will Make You Feel Amazing About Yourself

We’re constantly being told what we should look like, which sucks because we all look how we look. We’re always bombarded with these unrealistic images of people and are somehow supposed to attain that look. It’s frustrating, and it can really bring you down. Colbie Caillat just released her new music video for “Try,” and holy moly, is it inspiring. Y’all know I love makeup, but I wear it for me. This song is about not doing things for other people and finding yourself first. Everyone in the video starts off made up and slowly removes makeup and hair extensions as it goes on. By the end, they’re just themselves, Colbie included. It’s awesome.
